Recipe - Banoffee Treat Smoothie
Our Nutrition Champion – the lovely Kerry Taylor – has come up with this tasty sounding smoothie. She suggests that this is a particularly good option for those who are perhaps experiencing a loss of appetite and are finding solid food a little unpalatable. It is very easy to prepare and it’s packed full with calories and protein. Plus it will satisfy a sweet tooth!
RECIPE:
1 Banana
150ml fortified milk (or simply fresh milk)
Small tub of crème caramel
Teaspoon of golden syrup
METHOD:
Simply liquidise until smooth. It can even be hand blended.
