Lacey Loves Amsterdam!
Our lovely Lacey recently spent three days in Amsterdam with her friend Emma. Can you imagine? Two beautiful young women let loose on that remarkable city? It’s fair to say that the two of them didn’t waste a minute of their time there. I asked Lacey about her impressions
Lacey looking lovely and enjoying the Heineken Museum
Was this your first time in Amsterdam and the Netherlands? Yes it was. I had heard lots of good things about the city and we thought it would be a great place for a short break. It’s only a 45 minute flight and because of our early departure we arrived before breakfast!
How was your hotel? Perfect! It was next to a lovely canal and literally a two minute walk from the city centre. But to be honest, we didn’t spend that much time in it.
Did you like Amsterdam? I absolutely loved it. I want to live there! In fact, I cried on the plane when we were coming home. The Dutch people are so friendly and it’s such a clean city.
What did you do while you were there and what did you enjoy most? We had a great time in the Ice Bar and I really enjoyed visiting Anne Frank’s house and the Heineken Museum. But I must admit, the Sex Museum was my favourite. It was hilarious! The red light district was fascinating in a slightly scary sort of way and the coffee shops were, erm, interesting! But I just loved being in Amsterdam, just wandering around and taking things in. I loved it! I even managed a sneaky McDonalds because as all of the girls at Wilnash know, I love a McDonalds!
So, where to next Lacey? Back to Amsterdam ASAP!
